Willesden Green Cultural Centre, London

09.02.2015

This new scheme will provide a cultural centre and service delivery hub that will encompass a library, museum, study space, galleries, archive, café and customer centre.

Set to open in 2015 the centre will be extended from the 1894 library building and will be refurbished to form gallery/community space. Following the closure of six other libraries within the London Borough of Brent the intention of this regeneration is to enable the library to sufficiently meet the increased demand for library space within Brent.

The new facility will be a highly social space and feature community play areas and an amphitheatre. Land adjacent to the site will feature 95 high quality one and two bedroom apartments. Building communities is a key element of Pentland's brief on this development.

We will be working with the local community and helping residents, some of them new to the area, to settle in this thriving part of north London.
